Inspired by the quote from Luigi Pirandello, "You will learn at your own expense that throughout your life you will meet more masks than faces," this artwork explores themes of deception and false friendships.
Background and Inspiration:The painting emerged from a period when I discovered that some people I considered friends were gossiping about me behind my back. This betrayal and disappointment led me to express my feelings through art, using masks as a powerful symbol of their fake friendship. The masks represent the false faces people wear, hiding their true intentions and feelings.
