Infinity — Original Abstract Acrylic Painting by Jasmina Mendoza

Infinity — Original Abstract Acrylic Painting by Jasmina Mendoza

Infinity is an original contemporary abstract painting by Jasmina Mendoza, created in Sheffield, England, in July 2023. Painted with acrylics on a 40 x 60 cm canvas panel, this one-of-a-kind artwork combines expressive brushwork, dripping and energetic splashes of colour.

Rich emerald greens, deep blacks and vibrant turquoise blues create a layered composition, while touches of yellow bring warmth and light. Flowing diagonal marks contrast with quieter, softly blended areas, giving the painting both movement and depth.

Within the abstract forms, dark shapes suggest doorways opening towards an uncertain horizon. For the artist, these forms evoke hope, renewal and the possibility of new beginnings. The title Infinity invites viewers to explore their own interpretation, discovering something different each time they look.

The interplay of colour, spontaneous drips and carefully worked surfaces makes this original acrylic artwork a distinctive statement piece for contemporary interiors. Suitable for a living room, study or personal art collection, Infinity brings expressive colour, atmosphere and an open-ended sense of possibility to any space. Its atmosphere feels both mysterious and quietly optimistic.
